Acer has introduced two new desktop PCs with Windows 10. One is Acer U5-710 and second is Acer M1-601. First is an all in one computer and is only 37mm thick. Acer U5-710 specifications include Intel Core i7 and i5 processors based on new Intel Skylake platform, Nvidia GeForce graphics card, up to 16GB RAM, essential ports (HDMI I / O, DC Jack, Ethernet, USB 2.0 and 2 x USB 3.0, TV tuner) organized at the back. The screen of the Acer U5-710 measures 23.8 inches and pack full HD resolution.
Acer U5-710 screen supports multi touch input as well that offers great viewing angles and flicker less technology. Dolby Digital along with Acer True Harmony technologies ensure your room is filled with rich sound.
On the other hand, Acer M1-601 is a small PC that is based on the concept where the user can customize his PC without having to open it. This is done using the blocks concept where each blocks adds a certain functionality.
For instance, there is a block that adds 500GB hard disk, there is one for wireless charging and so on.
The Acer M1-601 specifications include Intel Pentium or Celeron processor with Intel HD integrated graphics, up to 8GB DDR4 RAM and a volume of 125 x 125 mm.
Micro Star International loves all in one computers and the company has launched two new AIOs namely MSI Adora20 5M and AE200 5M both of which are powered by AMD Beema. Interestingly both MSI Adora20 5M and MSI AE200 5M have identical specifications too.
There are two sub models in AE200 5M has two sub models, first has 21.5 inch display packing full HD 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. It comes with multi touch, anti glare coating, anti-flicker and blue light technology that reduces eye strain.
The 19.5 inch model has HD+ display packing 1600 x 900 pixel resolution and has same features as 21.5” model. For storage you get 500 GB or 1 TB SATA III HDD in both models.
The MSI Adora20 5M has 19.5” display with 1600 x 900 pixel resolution, AMD E2-6110 1.5 GHz quad core processor, Radeon R2 discrete class graphics, up to 8GB RAM, 802.11n Wi-Fi, DVD super multi drive and 1 megapixel HD camera. It too has multi-touch with anti-glare, Anti-Flicker technology and Less Blue Light technology. The anti glare coating is totally optional though. For storage you get a 2.5 inch SSD.
All in one computers did not enjoy a lot of success last year but it looks like this category will finally take off this year.
MSI has announced two all-in-one computers AG270 2QC and 2QE with Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M and 980M dedicated video cards respectively. The two MSI computers can be configured with up to 16 GB of RAM and several Intel Core processors and storage solutions including Super RAID configuration. Prices start from $1800.
MSI has updates its all in one computer AG270 which includes Nvidia GeForce GTX 970M (2QC) and 980M (2QE) dedicated video cards.
All make use of an Intel Core i7-4710HQ 2.5 GHz processor, 12 gigabytes of memory (optional 16GB RAM), 128GB mSATA SSD or traditional 1TB / 2TB 7200 RPM hard disk drive.
Other MSI AG270 specifications include an optical drive (DVD Super Multi drive), 4 USB 3.0 ports, 2 USB 2.0, HDMI and VGA video outputs, HDMI video input, line in and out audio jacks, 3 in 1 SDXC reader, 2 megapixel webcam, Gigabit Ethernet, 2 speakers with Yamaha amplifier.
All models are already up for sale in the US with prices starting at 1799 dollars.
LG’s two new models of the Tab-Book 2 (Models 11T740 and 11T540) are the second-generation of the company’s hybrid Tab-Book that run Windows 8.1. Both the Tab-Book 2 models sport touchscreen with support for 10-point touch control and offer slide-out QWERTY keyboards under the 11.6-inch full-HD IPS display.

The latest LG Ultra PC 13Z940 is powered by an Intel ‘Haswell’ Core i5 processor, and weighs 980 grams. The LG Ultra PC will come in two storage variants solid-state drive (128GB or 256GB). It runs Windows 8, though LG has not specified if it is the Windows 8.1 version.
