Sony Vaio Z has been re launched and it is looking amazing. The Vaio Z was flagship laptop of Sony till 2012 when it was phased out. The new Vaio Z 2015 has better specifications and excellent battery with unmatchable design and functionality.
The Vaio Z 2015 is priced at 1600 dollars and with that money you get a top of the ultra low voltage Core i7-5557U (3.10 / 3.40GHz) processor, 512GB SSD for storage, 16GB PC3L-12800 DDR3 SD RAM, Intel Iris Graphics 6100 and Windows 8.1 Pro 64 bit operating system.
You also get 10 point multi touch display packing WQHD resolution and whopping claimed battery life of 15 hours. However folks at slate review who have already reviewed Sony Vaio Z 2015 model have said they got 10.2 hours of actual use which is still commendable for such powerful laptop.
The display of the Sony Vaio Z 2015 can be rotated back that allows the user to use it in slate tablet mode. The entire body is made of aluminum carbon which makes it super light. The company claims that it can boot from stand-by in 0.3 seconds.
Sony has released three portal hard disk drives PSZ-HA1T, PSZ-HA50 and PSZ-HA2T that look tough and rugged. All of them look and feel the same but have different storage capacities and of course price tags.
PSZ-HA1T, PSZ-HA50 and PSZ-HA2T have 1TB, 500GB and 2TB storage capacities respectively. Price start for $270 / €197 for the 2TB model.
