UK mobile operator EE has announced the Osprey 2 mini router with FDD-LTE / W-CDMA / GSM connectivity. Osprey 2 mini specifications include Qualcomm MDM9225, Qualcomm AR6004 chips with category 4 LTE UE connectivity with maximum down speed of 150Mbps and uplink speeds of up to 50Mbps.
The devices are connected to the Osprey 2 mini mobile LTE WiFi router using IEEE 802.11 b / g / n (2.4GHz) wireless LAN network. It has inbuilt capacity of 6GB and battery size is 1500 mAh. Right now, only one color variant is available and it is black.
In the box, you get device, USB cable, Keep Me Card, Quick Start guide, Cloth pouch and Safety leaflet. It measures just 88 x 88 x 17.6 mm.
Toshiba has launched Satellite Radius 11 convertible laptop which is basically a shrunken down version of its 15.6″ variant that Toshiba launched earlier this summer.
The Toshiba Satellite Radius 11 weighs 2.9 pounds. Price information for United States is not yet available but it is already up for sale in UK for 329 pounds. This means it will be a lot cheaper than its bigger 15.6″ brother that goes for around $900.

EE a UK network provider has launched its first branded android phone in UK. It claims that it is the cheapest handset with 4G plan. For GBP 14 / month for 24 months, you will be getting 500 minutes of talktime, unlimited text messages, 500MB of 4G data and a free EE Kestrel.

HTC has started rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update to the HTC One and One Max phones. The company pulled the update for the HTC One last month due to issues. The same Android 4.4 update rolled out for Samsung galaxy s4 and Note 3 couple of weeks back in UK.

Sony recently started taking pre-orders for the Xperia Z2 tablet in UK and now the device is available directly from the Sony’s online store. All three models of the Xperia Z2 tablet are showing as “in stock” on their website including 16GB and 32GB WiFi-only models. There is an LTE model as well.

LG announced Lifeband Touchb at the CES back in January and now the Korean giant has confirmed that it will hit the market shelves in the UK in April. The Lifeband Touch is a fitness tracker and it works with both iOS and Android devices. There is no Windows Phone support as of now.

Apple has released a new 8GB variant of iPhone 5C. It first turned up on O2 UK’s website, and now it has gone official on company’s website as well.
Apple is selling it for GBP 429 which makes it about 40 pounds cheaper than the 16 gigabyte model that retails for GBP 469. The 32 GB variant sells for whopping £549. Other than the change in storage capacity, nothing else has changed.

HTC released their mid range Desire 816 phone at the MWC 2014 event in Barcelona, Spain. The phone went up for pre-order in China and report suggested the company received more than 450,000 orders. Now the 816 is all set to hit the UK shores as HTC UK’s twitter account has posted an image of it highlighting some of its features.
While there is no word on its availability, HTC will be shedding more light on it at its scheduled event on March 25. Phone seller Clove has mentioned on its blog that they will be one of the first in UK to sell Desire 816. However they have not mentioned a price tag on the pre-order page. Germany’s Amazon site has it up for pre-order for EUR 379. Its specifications include a big 5.5 inch display, Quad core snapdragon 400 SoC, 1.5 GB RAM, 13 mega pixel camera and Android 4.4 Kitkat operating system.
While there is still no confirmation on its availability in UK, we are pretty confident that at least Clove will be offering it.
