Even though Windows Phone 8.1 developer preview was released earlier last month, Huawei Ascend W1 were not able to update to the new OS because of firmware / driver issues. In fact, there was enough of a chance that it would brick phones for MS to stop its deployment till the problem could be fixed.
An XDA user has made a tutorial on how to get WP8.1 on the Huawei Ascend W1. All the steps are mentioned in this XDA thread. Basically you will need to install Qualcomm driver, followed by its I/O driver and support tool. After that you will be putting custom bootloader onboard to get WP8.1 up and running.
The developer was kind enough to make an easy-to-use video as well.
Folks at xda have provided download links of Android 4.4 Kitkat for the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2012 edition. Right now the users are stuck on the Android 4.1.2 jelly bean ROM. Note that this process will delete all data stored on your tablet so make sure to create a backup before proceeding.
First download ODIN from here. After that download all files provided by galaxy note news and store them on your computer.
Then put your Galaxy Tab 10.1 2012 in download mode by pressing volume down + power button together for few seconds. Then connect it to your computer and start ODIN. Select them as shown in following screenshot.
Now click on start to flash. Give it some time as you are flashing an entirely new OS on to it.
We finally have the CWM and TWRP recoveries for the Nokia X android phone. To flash ClockworkMod (CWM) you must have ADB set up on your computer. Download CWM from here and connect your Nokia X to the PC using a micro USB cable.

With Nokia X, the company introduced a radical new UI that was inspired from windows Phone’s metro UI. But not all of us want our Android phone to look like a WP device. For those who prefer stock android look prefer AOSP / vanilla look.
An XDA user has released vanilla Android 4.1.2 for the Nokia X. To flash it you will require CWM or TWRP custom recoveries installed on our phone.

Sony is pushing out the Android 4.4 KitKat update for the Xperia Z Ultra smartphone. Users in Hong Kong are reportedly getting the update first. THe update is only available as an Over-The-Air update so owners would not be flash it manually.
However, it is worth checking the settings for an update as it should be available there. It is a phased roll out and the update may not be available if you live in North America.
