Sony has released new MDR-ZX, MDR-EX models that are designed to be used for smartphones as-well-as music players like iPod and Walkman. It features 40mm drivers that ensure crisp sound over wide range and is capable of blocking 98 percent of ambient sound. There is a microphone built into it so that you can make and answer a call using headphone. Its built in battery can provide up to 13 hours of non-stop wireless music listening with noise cancellation on.

Rumors are brewing that the Samsung is working on a cheaper version of its Galaxy Note phone. This cheaper version, as expected is said to have a smaller 5 inch screen and less powerful hardware to keep the costs down. According to benchmark results leaked online, it seems that Samsung is working on a tablet with 7 inch screen. The leaked tablet, being called Samsung GT N5100 has a quad core 1.6GHz processor and runs Android 4.1.2. The resolution is 1280 x 720, which is identical to Galaxy Note 2 N7100.
